Entretien
I was emailed and called back and came in for my first interview. I met with the manager of the claims department she was nice but did not seem to be prepared to interview me. I was then told by email that they hired an internal candidate. I understood and was fine with this. I was then called back in 3 weeks later stating they added more business and would I be willing to come in for a second interview, This time I met with same same manager and her assistant manager, with some of the same questions. When the interview wrapped up the assitant manager just walked out without even thanking me or saying goodbye. The manager thanked me though. What I found very unprofessional is that they never got back to me by phone or e-mail despite having sent them a follow up e-mail checking on the status. I figure any company that treats you like that with the interview process is not a company I want to work for. They are not a huge company so follow up was feasible, they just did not care.
We have updated our hiring process to include generally, 2 interviews before notified on whether an offer is extended or not. (some positions may require additional reviews)
