CoStar provided a remote powerpoint about the position. I then had a remote interview, and then the company flew me to the on-site interview. There, I met with two interviewers and then completed a 2-hour writing assessment. What confused me about the process was that in my remote interview, the interviewer told me he was surprised I applied to an associate position instead of a senior position, with the amount of experience I have. Then, I was told by my recruiter that I did not get the position after the on-site interview because I did not have enough experience, even for the associate position. I'm not too disappointed as it seems the project CoStar is working on is unclear, even to those who are currently employed. I got mixed feedback in my interview, and during the on-site interview, the folks interviewing me were asking each other what the new processes were and what certain tasks were called. I didn't leave that on-site interview with a positive feeling about the company and the project.
