Got a call from costar recruiter. Interviewed for 30 minutes with her. Got an email for an on-site interview a couple days later. Interviews with senior managers and VP. They don’t know very much what they’re doing in terms of processes and design so the questions and the interview was very easy. At one point met with another designer. Very unexperienced didn’t even know what a producer was. Recruiter was adamant that I knew agile methods but the team themselves never heard what it was. Very confusing and amateurish.
After spending over 4 hours of my life and being told that I was the best candidate I was ghosted. I have a feeling that my salary request was too high for them based on the salaries I see here on Glassdoor. Super cheap people.
What kind of professionals ghost candidates after spending hours with them? Not even the decency to send me a note. It says a lot about how they conduct their business. You people should feel some shame for treating people like this.

1. Initial phone screen with the recruiter. They will be in contact with you till the end.
2. 30-minute interview/portfolio review with the senior designer.
3. 24-hour design assignment related to skills they are looking for.
4. Present your design assignment onsite with the whole team.
