Applied via LinkedIn. The first outreach was about 7 days later. The entire interview process, end-to-end, was just over a week.
The first step was a pre-screen questionnaire that was a good mix of holistic and skill-based questions. It's a good place to speak to or elaborate on previous experience.
This was followed by a quick pre-screen interview with the company's HR representative who was my guide through the entire process and gatekeeper to successive interviews.
My technical interview was scheduled for 60 minutes but ran over quite a bit. It was one of the better technical interviews I had over the course of my job search and the interviewer provided helpful feedback along the way. Everything was practical in nature and the questions were focused on programming & architecture. I was able to lean on my experience but I do wish I had covered some refresher material beforehand, regardless.
The final interview was with one of the founders of the company and was focused on professional interactions between stakeholders and other teams in an organization.
The in-between interviews with the HR rep were very helpful and were a good way to sort out anything you felt shakey about in the previous interview. It definitely felt like there was an attempt to get to know me both personally and professionally.
A final note: Expectations for the interview process are clearly laid out up front and then reinforced after each round. Follow the directions, review what's in the job description, and you will do just fine.
