J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Classy, Inc
Entretien
Started out with a 30-minute discussion with a company recruiter, followed by a 45-minute interview with the hiring manager. After that, it was three 45-minute interviews with an architect, tech lead, and product owner.

Main complaints:
- They focus heavily on quantity (years) of experience rather than quality. My experience for the role was downplayed several times by recruiters, and yet they continued to schedule interviews and waste both of our time. I passed every behavioral interview (to my knowledge) but was never given the opportunity to demonstrate my technical capabilities.
- Compensation ranges I was told were well below what other similar companies offered (even for lower level roles).
- Flaky! A follow up interview I was scheduled for got canceled. I was told it was because resources were reallocated between teams/departments. They were recently acquired and my impression is a lot of things are shifting around right now.
Until things settle and there are improvements to their interview process, I'd encourage experienced engineers to spend their time looking elsewhere.

Question 1
Standard "tell me more about your experience" questions.

I didn't have to do any tech assessment or take home work. First interview was probably the longest and it seemed like a list of pre-selected questions that covered culture fit, leadership skills, and technical abilities. Second interview was a much shorter team fit style interview with another engineer. Third interview was a full-on technical interview and live-coding exercise. Then a final shorter interview with a team manager.
Overall everyone was extremely friendly, more than willing to answer my questions, and they kept me up-to-date on where the interview process was. Seemed like the best company I had interviewed with at this time, but I just found a role that suited me a little better somewhere else.
