J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez City Year en mars 2015
Entretien
(DC)
Very cut and dry; lasted about an hour. asked 18 questions, the first of which was how much I knew about City Year, so do your homework.
Some simple questions, some difficult. Really not that bad but really not much feedback. It is a 4 week process. Application due, two weeks later is an interview, two weeks later you hear.
I've pushed my decision date back though so I will not hear for a while.

Question 1
How much do you know about City Year? How would you feel about leading people older/more experienced than you? How would you feel being lead by people younger than you?

Very simple. Quick virtual interview and pretty simple questions. Research their values and what not and you should be good to go. As far as I remember it was a single interview and decision is relatively soon after that.
Really friendly and welcoming. Try to make it as comfortable as possible and share about the work they do. They want to ensure applicants are making the right decisions and that they assess the values.

Done over zoom and not an overly long process interviews are usually conducted by the IM for a school in the city you are applying for but if you have a pulse you should be fine
