J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Citi

Initial call was with the recruiter then following was a panel interview. Panel interview lasted about 75 minutes and really asked some dumbsh*t questions, like they were literally taking from Google or something.
Initially the team had no idea what location I was interviewing for since themselves were from different places.
If you’re into the cyber security industry and performing various jobs like SAST/DAST/Mobile security, penetration testing, architecture review then you know that you don’t get time for doing something from scratch and with complete manual interaction.
For example, during the interview person X asked me what’ is the Abstract Class? What is the Reference Variable?
And my answer was it is totally unfit to my field so I’d not know the answer, and he said then I don’t know how you do code reviews because in here everything we do is manually and not using any automation tools and “literally line by line”. I was like working in a large scale operation with thousands of lines of code while doing other duties you don’t really get a chance to do it in this way, instead we would rather verify and triage the findings reported by the tools.
Another funny question was, the same person asked me about Hashing with following question “Where do you get the salt from?”(Like you were supposed to get it from nearby Walmart?) I mean why would you ask such stupid questions?
The overall process made me felt like they weren’t there to find a candidate but 2/3 person were trying so bad to disqualify interviewee since they seemed like they had some internal referrals to hire. Because in feedback to the recruiter they said “the candidate lacks knowledge and have gaps in understanding the concepts”
A word of advice: Better find some other good place for position than to this company.
