Mostly HR and CV based questions to check fit with the role and the company. Also tested simple finance concepts. You need not have a pre-existing finance background. However, sound reasoning as to why you wish to join Citi and giving logical answers to their questions would probably be necessary.

Tell me about yourself. Why do you wish to join Citi? Why finance? What do understand by finance?
First round interview was a 30 minute phone call with the questions you would expect. Tell me about yourself/ behavioral questions. Also should have some talking points on the industry.
5 to 6 people in a group interview - case study and business awareness. Have sufficient time to study the material. Last for 3 hours in Total. 2 interviewee would ask follow up questions. Quite causal.
