J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Citadel Securities (Londres, Angleterre) en janv. 2024
Entretien
It started with a coding test (HackerRank) which I passed. Algorithmics questions. I then had an interview with a senior quantitative developer in the team. We discussed my background, the role, and he then pulled up the code from the test. We discussed my solutions, and how I could optimise it further in one of the exercises. He seemed happy with my answers. There were no maths / probas / stats / ML / quant finance questions. The feedback I received via the recruiter was that I had done well.
One month passed, no news. They then told the recruiter than they wanted to "move [me] forward based on my technical skills but that [I] didn't perform well enough in the actual quant interviews'.
Here's the thing though : there were no "actual quant interviews".
If you don't want to interview me further, well that's a pity but that's life...but why would you invent that I did not perform well on interviews which never took place ?
In total, it took 2 months from profile being sent to that weird feedback.

Long telephonic and video interview. Maths, probability questions and a small programming assignment. Moderate difficult interview level. Motivation/ interest to join cit sec. Started
on time and very efficient use of time
It was mostly about coding. I was first being asked to share my research experience followed by a Q&A, and then we moved on to a DP problem. Since we discussed my research for ~ 40 min, I didn't have time to finish testing my code.
