Entretien
The first interview was with the brand new VP of Sales & Marketing. I was sold on the job and the company based off of our phone screen and interview despite the poor sales activity and lack of a marketing presence.
There is a phone screen, a first interview then a second interview only with the CEO and someone else and upper management. Then you have to create a marketing and sales presentation of your past accomplishments- basically quantify your past accomplishments and skills to sell your job to the CEO as if you were playing for a director level position.

Question 1
Standard phone and first interview questions. They went well and the VP was excellent and explaining how he would provide focus and leadership to his team.
Would have been a great fit but then I met the CEO. Running into him and his team in the hallway was eye-opening along with hearing 3 team members' description of working with him. The team was excellent and they were very professional even and how they spoke of being in a micromanaged environment w/ someone who didn't understand their work or field.
I gave the second interview shot as a result. But speaking with the CEO in the second interview and his inability to answer even what he was looking for in a candidate was impossible. I withdrew my application for the position. The guy was unqualified to even sit in on an interview - his ego and lack of experience prevented even basic communication and understanding.
