Entretien
I was told to have a 30-min phone calls. The interviewer is polite and friendly. He introduced to me what Ciena do and what skills he was looking for from a candidate. It’s my problem that thought it was only a BQ interviews or discussion of my previous experience so I didn’t prepare any for the Basic definition of the C language, I know that’s only the basic definitions. Some questions I even knew the answers but I was kind of lost and couldn’t answer it well. I recently had interview with Java and I perfectly answered them well. So It’s just I didn’t prepare to answer such questions…My advise is GET PREPARED!

What data types do C has? What’s the difference between static and global variables? How do we store static variables? What are the ways we call variables from a method? What is the differences of them? etc.
It was an 30 min interview with 2 interviewer. They asked me basic C and Operating system questions. Then, about my previous experience.
Few situational questions, like how would handle multiple priorities, what is the process after your done developing your application etc etc.

Entretien
It was a phone interview, which took about 30 minutes. The interviewer was nice, and the questions are about the technical experience and personal information. The connection was bad, but the interviewer was willing and patient to repeat the questions.

Since the position is for new grad, the questions were about projects or thesis. Also, some basic knowledge about the position, like real-time system, which can be found in the qualifications. At last, there were some questions such as, what are the differences between study at university and in company; and why should we hire you.
