The call with the staff designer was 30 min, I was asked the typical questions about background, experience, and situational things. Overall it felt awkward because he didn't seem interested based on the lack of engagement, and not really explaining what the company does.

From the conversations I had it didn't seem like they were a innovative tech company. If you are trying to get more experience and working on cool projects, this might not be the place. However, if you are looking to gain experience in a fast paced environment with not really a solid methodldgy in place then this is it for you. Overall, the interview experience was pretty standard. The vibe in the office is pretty low key. The more questions I asked, evident it was that there isn't a streamlined process, a lot of internal politics and things changing every single day. So glad it didn't work out both ways.
