Submitted application online, then was added to their database of work experience applicants. Since then their database processionally send across vacancies on a first come first serve basis. I submitted an open application and since then recieved invitations for their Japanese,Chinese art, Islamic art departments. The duration of work experience depends on department, but usually 2-3 weeks, unpaid. Work is mainly administrative but good for networking and get first hand insight of how the auction house functions, employee's feedback on the environment etc.
