You will be asked very simple and generic questions, made to feel like you will be able to make an impact. If you are offered a position, you will probably be offered whatever salary you request. As the saying goes... If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

There were a lot of cancellations and delays in getting the interview to come to fruition. CEO herself emailed me once with her message in the subject. From that note, I knew that this interview was going to be an experience more than an opportunity. In essence, I walked into the interview with the proverbial "grain of salt". In my research of the company and the employee reviews on this site, I knew the CEO was going to be "unique" and outspoken. As she reviewed my resume and my work history, she went out of her way to insult me. I am no one to judge on the experiences and histories of all people, but to drop all formalities and professionalism off the bat was not a good sign. I shared my ideas and my thoughts of how to improve the marketing campaigns of the company. She wanted to take a few minutes out of my time to put onto paper those aforementioned ideas. An associate led me to a desk but she lacked access to the username and the password to a needed account that carried needed information. As astounded as I was with the experience with the CEO (I wasn't surprised one bit by it), I paid attention and listened to the interactions between the employees of the company. And one interaction or rather a confrontation caught my attention. Two employees were arguing about some issue. And then one employee walked away from the confrontation. The other employee (an older female) yelled, "You listen to me now! Don't walk away from me!" After that interesting discourse, I decided to just wrap things up and call it a day at their office. I told the CEO I had to leave and that was it. I understand ambition and entrepreneurial spirit is important and demanded out of people. But from my experience with the CEO and the interaction between employees, this company lacked professionalism and positive culture. I have experience many "nightmare" interviews but most of them come from a lack of professionalism and an aversion to creating good relationships.
