Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Chime
Entretien
Very time consuming and grueling interview process. Very formal, no opportunity for the candidate to get a good sense of the company/team.
10 hours of interviews in total, not including time required for homework completion.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Chime en déc. 2021
Entretien
Interview Overview:
1. Phone screen with hiring manger
2. Research challenge take home assignment
3. Portfolio presentation + research challenge presentation (1 hr)
4. Final round loop: Two case study presentations (1 hr) + five 1:1 interviews, including a whiteboarding challenge.
Compared to other comparable tech companies, Chime’s interview process is much more time-intensive, demanding, and prescriptive. It includes, for instance, a take home research assignment/presentation and an onsite whiteboarding challenge, even though one technical assessment should suffice.
To Chime - I strongly encourage you to follow industry norms by streamlining the interview process.

Question 1
Interview questions are confidential but they offer a lot of guidance - and instructions - along the way.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Chime (San Francisco, CA)

I had a:
-> Hiring Manager call
-> First round with research & design workshopping a case study
-> Second round with a cross-functional group that consisted of a portfolio presentation followed by a few 1:1 with some of the people in the group.
The first round is a lot more technical than the second, where there's a lot more focus on communication and stakeholder relationships. Conversations were generally laid back, semi-informal, people were friendly and genuine. I learned a lot during the process about the company and how the team works. A lot of how the process went and the people I met throughout contributed to my decision to join the team.
