After completing the initial application online, CPS will send a follow-up email for you to schedule an interview.
After arriving at the interview, you are placed in a room with multiple applicants. They will call you for your interview about 30-45 mins after your scheduled interview. Once you are called, you are usually interviewed by a principal who will ask you 3-5 questions about classroom management.

Easy process, friendly interviewer. You get a chance to see the city on a different light. Lots of educators doing their best with the resources they have. I've been all over the city, schools are nice and you get to work with some amazing kids

Bad, cold, and distant interviewer, she was rude, honestly. Told us it was a professional interview, but the interviewer wasn't even showing herself on Zoom camera, literally just her forehead.

The interview was scheduled a few weeks in advance, but I heard back the next day. Only a quick 15 minute video call, and the interviewer was on time, professional, and friendly.
