Applied a US position as I am moving to the US in 2 or 3 months.
I booked a time slot with one recruiter for the screening interview. The recruiter didn't show up in the first 10 mins, and I sent an email to her and she immediately replied and asked where I am located at the moment as she saw a UK number on my CV.
So I quickly explained viea email about my status that I am moving to the state in 3 months. I said that we could have this conversation on the phone call and I can explain my status clearer.
But she sent an email back to me that the company needs someone can start immediately. So no interviews need here.
It is a really bad experience, as at least we should have the conversation on a phone call considering the time slot had been booked, rather than one lines or two lines by email, as that is the point of the screening. And also they should have confirmed with candidates about their status before they decided to move people to interview. It is just waste of time.
I am pretty sure I will not consider chewy again.
The interview process was smooth, well organized, and easy to schedule, with clear communication throughout, timely follow-ups, and a straightforward structure that made the overall experience efficient and professional. The interview process was smooth, well organized, and easy to schedule, with clear communication throughout, timely follow-ups, and a straightforward structure that made the overall experience efficient and professional.
Tough process. Too many rounds. Pay was not reflective of level of effort for interviews. Some nice people, some couldn’t care less. Overall would not recommend interviewing and wasting time unless you are content with lay
