J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Chewse (San Francisco, CA) en mars 2019
Entretien
The interview process was straight forward. I was contacted for a recruiting role and talked to the their sole full cycle recruiter at the time. I got a great overview of the company and was moved on to several more phases in the process. However when it came time to be scheduled for an on-site, I was promised a quick turnaround time for scheduling. I made sure to submit my availability right away and was told it would take 2 days for a response. Then two days went by and I sent a follow up to the recruiter to let them know that I had submitted times but heard nothing. The weekend came and went and I followed up that Monday and still heard nothing. I then received an email a couple of days later letting me know that they selected someone else and that there wasn't another role available. It was a pretty cold response given that I was told nothing then rejected. It singled that the recruiter didn't know how to properly close the loop with a candidate. I moved on and continued to interview with other companies. However, 3 weeks later I received an email from the same recruiter asking if I wanted to be interviewed for the same role that I had just interviewed for. The email was written as if I were a prospect and we had never spoken before so I felt I had to speak out.
While I think Chewse is a good company, I fear that the recruiting process and how candidates are handled could use some improvement.
I had written a previous review here which was taken down by the company (again, not the best way to handle issues of this nature), so rewrote it because I strongly felt that this experience should be shared with any prospective applicant thinking of working here. If the recruiting experience isn't there, then it will be very hard for the company to grow.
