The interview was done on 3 phases - initial, technical, and in-person. The initial interview used the STAR approach - Situation, Task, Action, Result. There are no right or wrong answer - the interviewer just wants to see how do you act on situations that's related to the function that you are getting into. The second interview was more of the same - you need to explain your answer in a manner that can be easily understood by a non-technical person. The last interview was more on the aptitude and a review of what the initial interview has covered.
