The first interview was a video call with the Head of Marketing, followed by a second interview with two members of the marketing team. The final stage was with HR, which was meant to cover salary discussions and an overview of employee benefits. It was only at this point that I learned for the first time that the position falls under a hospitality contract, requiring work on Saturdays. This made little sense for a marketing role. I made it clear that I had not been informed of this earlier and that it should have been communicated before I traveled all the way to Weggis. Moreover, this meant that the annual salary was based on a six-day workweek rather than five, which made the offer even less reasonable. As a result, I declined the offer.
