I recently had an interview experience for the Technical Support Analyst role at Checkout.com that left me utterly disappointed and disheartened. Despite a promising initial interview, I was completely ghosted by the company after the technical Interview, which was both unprofessional and inconsiderate. The interview process began on a positive note, with a courteous and engaging conversation with the interviewer. I was excited about the opportunity to work with Checkout.com, given its reputable standing in the industry and innovative approach to payment solutions. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned to frustration as I never received any communication from the company after the technical interview. In the aftermath of the interview, I reached out to the recruiter multiple times inquiring about the status of my application and humbly requesting feedback about my performance during the Technical interview. Despite my efforts, I was met with complete silence and radio silence from the company. Being left in the dark without any explanation or acknowledgment is both unprofessional and disrespectful to candidates who have invested time and effort in the application process As a job seeker, I understand that not all applicants can be successful, but common decency and professional courtesy dictate that every candidate should be treated with respect. Even if my application wasn't successful, I deserved the basic courtesy of a response, or at the very least, constructive feedback. The lack of communication post-interview has left me feeling disregarded and undervalued as a candidate.
