A series of interviews, first with a recruiter and then with someone who would be reporting into me. I'm not sure what the next step would have been. I would have hoped it would be meeting with my potential manager because the expectations, measures of success for the role, and the day-to-day work were not made clear to me in the first two interviews (which made it difficult to speak to how and why I was fit for the role). I was really looking for more information from my second interviewer because she had also held the interim position for a time, but she was not able to describe the role or expectations. She didn't seem too invested in the interview process, I felt that they might have already had their candidate in mind and I was filling a quota :( There was also a lot of hurry up and wait. After scheduling my second interview, I was asked to move up it up to the next two days instead of the following week because they were finalizing rounds with other candidates. I complied but then I waited weeks before hearing I was not going to move forward.
