The interview process was very organized from beginning to end. I also especially appreciated the Recruiter's assistance with getting my thank you letters to the interviewers. Even though this was the most extensive interview process I have ever gone through, it was actually very enjoyable. Everyone I met with was kind, welcoming, and passionate about their work. The questions asked were very thoughtful and the interviewers seemed genuinely interested in learning about me and my experiences and skills. Overall, I had a very positive experience. Please note that at the time of writing this review, I selected "No" for "Did you get an offer?" because I have not been notified of the hiring decision yet.

First call with the recruiter was a pleasant, 30-minute conversation to introduce CZI and the role, understand my skill set and prepare me for the interview with the hiring manager. I was asked to write and send a cover letter prior to the next interview, which I thought was odd to do at this stage. Second call with the hiring manager was off-putting. He was condescending and spoke as if I was a nuisance disturbing his day. It’s a shame that someone like that works in Education and Social Justice— no doubt he’s smart and competent judging by the way he answered my questions, but intellect is useless when coupled with a bad attitude. I knew within the first 2 minutes of the interview that I wouldn’t want to work with him, so I was quite relieved to hear I didn’t make it to the next round.
