The interview process consisted of a technical assessment and a 30-minute interview. The technical assessment consisted of several web-scraping tasks (some of which were optional) using Python's Scrapy framework. While there was no hard deadline for the assessment, they suggested around 5 business days. I completed the assessment in full (including the optional portions) and handed it in the following day. After I completed the assessment, I had a 30-minute interview with them. We went over the code I wrote for the assessment and they asked me about my past experience. In the end they went with someone else. I followed up to ask for feedback but I didn't hear back from them.
