An HR Generalist reached out to me to schedule a 20 minute phone screening interview. The interview itself was more of a can you commit to this many interviews, this many days working on-site, etc. At the very end when I was asked about my salary requirements, I gave my range which while on the mid to higher end of the posted salary range, it was still competitive with the other positions I have interviewed for. I was told that the hiring manager was trying to stay on the mid to lower end of the salary range, and I probably wouldn't be moving on for asking for that amount of money. With my experience, and education, I told her that was my non-negotiable range and she went on to talk about all the other different benefits the company offered and that she would notify me either that night (Friday) or at the latest the following Monday regardless of if they were moving on with me or not.
I still have yet to hear any correspondence from her nearly a month later.
