I interviewed for a job here in the winter of 2022. After interviewing with the department, I received and email from the Head of School about salary and benefits. I immediately replied with a polite thank you, and asked a few other questions. The HoS did not write back for a week, in which during that time I had declined an option for a second interview. The HoS then got back to me a week later, seemingly unaware that I had excused myself from the interview process. There were also red flags with strange comments in the email about not working on weekends (when the HoS' email was sent on a weekend), and the additional follow-up was sent by the HoS at 5am, etc. Additionally, durning the interview, I asked questions about the DEI work done. The non-response/lack of response spoke volumes regarding the lack of understanding or awareness happening at the school.
