I met with the HR representative (so in essence just a screening). At the time, the interview seemed to go very well as I aced every question and thought I had proved my value by discussing my skill set in great depth. The HR rep was unable to answer 2-3 of my questions, as she was fairly new (inexperienced). But she decided not to let me go through to the next round for a real interview with the Finance team doing the hiring -- I felt she was not qualified to make this decision. I can't prove this, but my fear is that I may have been age-discriminated against because of the amount of experience she could see on my resume.
