Phone screening went well, but I don’t feel like the recruiter asked enough questions to thoroughly understand my background. This ultimately led to me not advancing to the second round of interviews

Entretien
Screening Phone call was unconventional. Didn't ask me any questions and instead spoke at length about culture at CarGurus. After 10 minutes he quizzed me about what he talked about. I was half asleep by that time so I'm sure I didn't give him the answer he was looking for. Needless to say I didn't get another call back. I also don't like how in your face they are about 'inclusiveness' when almost all of their staff is Caucasian. Doesn't seem too genuine. I'd hire more POC before marketing a "commitment to diversity." It may be a good company to work at for someone who is the right fit.
