The interview process was good. I was interviewed by the Center Director and HR Director. However, I went through a staffing company and was told the employees are able to work from home if needed and I do not think that was the case once I asked the question about whether the opportunity was fully onsite/hybrid. Additionally, I was also told that sometimes staff from the office would be required to go to one of the school sites if needed. That is not an issue as someone who has worked in the child care field before. When I was asked why I chose a different career path, I explained that although I adored working with children, I felt as though upper management was not supportive to lower level staff. The response to my answer was very vague to say the least. The interview lasted a total of two days which required me to go to the office both times. Needless to say, I did not get an offer from the organization. However, after reading the reviews, I am actually very glad that I did not. Word of advice to management- please listen to the concerns of your lower level employees. Please provide more training for not only lower level employees but for management as well. As someone who is beginning their career in a management based field, it really is a shame to see a company with such great potential go downhill due to said management and how they are handling situations. Do better and be better.
