Got an email from the recruiter, did the phone screen, had to take a verbal and math test. There's a personality test portion, if you 'pass' you get a call with the hiring manager. At the time it was the VP, a few weeks later, go on site to meet the team. Two video conference, and met about 6-7 people. Last call was with SVP. The people were nice, lunch provided, and the interview style was either behavior, job fit, and case question (break even analysis). Break-even can be tricky, but just walk the interviewer through and you should be fine.
Waited a few more weeks, nothing from the recruiter, and get a call about a reorg and new hiring manager will be the lead and the job description is different. I find it odd how they change the job description and title without full explanation. Met with the new hiring manager, informal, and waited few more weeks.
Recruiter was completely not helpful and didn't socialize status. At least let candidates know what's going on. Why bother to check references with all this mumbo jumbo happening? Saying actively hiring, but still yet fill any positions at all is bogus.
I applied for one position, was toss up for another, and had a change for different hiring manager, really? Recruiter was definitely not helpful and I was in the dark.
