Where do I begin?
Was waiting in the reception of a dilapidated office for almost an hour. So many other applicants I felt like I was at a Hollywood casting audition.
Finally, I was called into a small, dark, windowless room for a five-minute 'interview' (aka - a sales pitch, complete with the empty business jargon and vague generic business terminology this company is infamous for. No description of the role I applied for - no mention of pay, working hours, progression.
I was back in the lobby within five minutes. I'm not joking.
They said they'd be in touch later if I was selected as a top applicant - where one has to come in for a training day (mine was 8.30 the following morning, thanks for the short notice). I later discovered through Glassdoor that this training day is UNPAID and the job is 100% COMMISSION with NO PROGRESSION.
In short, the 'Events' in the company name refer to kiosks they set up in shopping centres, streets, etc, and the 'Marketing' is selling products to annoyed Londoners.
Waste of time - do not bother.
