PLEASE..PLEASE..Beware Canon Dubai, they just add fake job openings to steal candidate ideas. Well, I noticed the "Digital Marketing Role" on LinkedIn for over 10 months and I was curious to know why this vacancy still opening that long even there are many digital gurus in Dubai I applied online and got first interview for screening and then after 2 weeks I got interview with HR and Hiring Manager, then after 3 weeks they asked my to do a presentation about current running campaign called "AKTASHIF" and here I started to feel suspicious because any business case or strategy will be for dummy or old project not actual. The brief of the presentation include full audit for this campaign, full strategy, and recommendations. I finished the presentation and again with panel including the HR and hiring manger and two more team from UK. I presented my idea and all I found is poker face with no engagement in the presentation and they told me will get back to you shortly! After 24 hours I discovered they applied all my recommendations on their website without my consent which totally unethical for big company like canon. After 3 weeks with no response and they kept posting for this vacancy on LinkedIn, I asked the HR for follow up, she told me we still interviewing people (actually, they just stealing people ideas an no hiring) I realized that I have been tricked and discovered many friends faced the same issue! My Questions here, how come big company like canon are doing nasty things like this and there is no audit or compliance for them as if Dubai office are the owners of the company!
