This was a very low energy interview process. It felt as though the person conducting the interview had no desire or interest in this process. She did not communicate clearly and had no details on the questions asked. It also seemed as though she didn't read my resume prior. The posted salary is quite low for industry standards. In a way, I assume that this was 'good' to experience this low effort interview as it shows what the company culture must be like. I contemplated leaving the interview early, but stuck around just to see if things would turn around. They didn't. As someone who's been in this industry for quite a while, I recognize not all companies will have a culture that is for me, but this was... miserable. I did not get an offer, and I had already decided that I would not progress in the interview process, even if I was extended.
