The Calpine interview process can take a while. Hang in there and just when it seems you will not get a call... you get a call. Decisions sometimes take time, especially when the company works a 4-10 work week. Calpine is focused on hiring the best applicant and schooling is definatelty a bonus with them.

The recruiter asked for my requested salary range, however was unable to disclose what was budgeted for the role. I asked at what stage it would be disclosed and was told when an offer is presented. Absurd!

I was temping for Calpine at the time that my position posted. I applied online, received an interview invitation after 1 week and was offered the position 8 weeks later.
