I applied to calix through an employee referral on 16th June 2025 for the graduate trainee business insights services data analyst role. Got the HR call on 27th June 2025, followed by 2 online tests, one was MCQs based on the skills required for the role and the other was a personality test. The interview was scheduled for 1st July 2025. Mainly focused on my GitHub projects and advanced python libraries and SSQL related questions.

I appeared for the entire selection process, which included one coding assessment, an MCQ test, three online interviews, and one in-person interview. After successfully clearing all the rounds, I was informed that I had been selected for the role. However, shortly afterward, I was unexpectedly put on hold with no clear explanation. After waiting for a month, I was finally told that I would not be moving forward. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. As a candidate, I invested a significant amount of time and effort throughout the process, only to be left with uncertainty and false hope. Communication could have been more transparent and respectful, especially after declaring final selection. I hope the company improves its candidate experience in the future.
