Small little country town with about 2 thousand population, so everyone who works there lives at least half an hour away in Orange which is a much bigger nearby town. Had an OK interview, though felt a lack of openness by the HR department interviewer. There were 2 of them: this HR lady and the manager of the Innovation & Technology department. The second fella seemed pretty chilled but the whole atmosphere turned overly professional and uneasy by this HR female interviewer. Nevertheless, overall it was ok. I answered everything honestly. Didn't even attempt to lie or exaggerate my true level of expertise. Things that I didn't know, I truly acknowledged. Wasn't super keen to move to this country town anyway, way too small for me. And the council itself seemed a bit sad. Got an email notification of unsuccessful interview a few days later. I moved on. Fun experience it was anyway.
Looking back now, neither bad nor positive can I say about it. Totally neutral.
