Initial testing conducted online at cabelas.com. Basic I.Q. test designed to weed out personal inadequacies and poor ethical behavior. A waiting period of more than a week before hearing back from the company. Initial interview with management, followed by a second interview with a senior manager. Offer made, pending satisfactory results of a drug test and background check. Training advertised as two week period, but often cut in half, due to high turnover rate of employees and the dire need to fill positions immediately.
The interview was very brief. The interviewer did not get into much detail about the position. The basic responsibilities were gone over and no more than three questions were asked about my previous experience.

Interviewed me like it was some difficult operation that requiring a variety of diversified skills. When all in all very simple job. Sat down one on one with employer. Very simple and got hired that same day.

Filled out online application. Rec'd call from local HR person the next day. Because of my schedule, did a sit down interview with a department manager after HR had gone home for the day. Was offered a position for my 2nd place desired position. 1st place desired position would have to wait for a discussion with HR the next day via phone. Did not commit since still have another opportunity with different employer in the works - I have not made a decision yet.
