J'ai passé un entretien chez CSG GOVERNMENT SOLUTIONS (Minneapolis, MN)
Entretien
Initial call with HR person who refused to disclose any salary range but just said it was “competitive” and that all the consultants make “good money.” Second round with a consultant, who was friendly but seemed focused on my willingness to travel. I think I didn’t sound enthusiastic about the travel aspect and got weeded out that way, as my experience was as close of a match as you can get. Did not get any feedback with rejection.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Asked specific questions around my technical experience and also hit hard on ability to travel.

A recruiter called me first and was very pleasant. A huge red flag was that she couldn’t answer or give any range for salary. She said “no one has declined an offer based on salary”. Which seems a little dishonest to say if you will not give a salary range. It’s very possible it was well below industry standards. I also was told about the 25% travel. First told once a month but in my zoom interview I was told it could be a lot more depending on project. Just felt like the company was hiding something. It is quite possibly that they are hiring because of a turn over rate due to salary and travel. My “deal breaker” questions were answered very vaguely or not at all.

Question 1
The whole interview is to go over your resume and question any gaps in employment. It then felt like an interrogation about gap in employment .

It was easy process.. interviews were more of discussions, 2 rounds of interviews, first round was with recruiter, second round was with AVP. Comp discussions happen with AVP. Did not receive offer. Recruiter always kept in touch throughout the process/
