Interview process was very slow. However, I am glad that I was patient. It took 6mo to complete all interviews. Background check was an eye opener. College transcripts, and social media checks.

Phone screening interview first. I needed to press HR to set up a time/date for in person interview that I had been approved for. The in person interviews were three 45 minute sessions on the same day. First session was with 2 Directors that described the job and responsibilities. Second session was with 2 Investigators that asked the job related questions. Last was with the Sr. Director in a mop up role doing a general personality chat. I thought the interviews went well. I have 30 years of trading experience and thought who would know better than me how to investigate trades. I was told I'd have an answer within a week. After that time came and went with no response I again had to prod HR for an answer. I was informed that another candidate had more relatable writing experience. I was under the impression that the role was primarily about Investigations. I suppose they were more interested in a writer.

HR phone interview was first, followed by three more interviews 45 minutes each. Interviews were with senior directors and existing investigators. There weren't many technical questions, mostly questions about how you might approach certain investigative situations. There were questions about technical skills, Excel skills and data analysis ability.
