The HR team was very nice and supportive throughout the process. I first had a friendly HR screening, which was a positive experience. However, the next stage — the online interview with the hiring manager and a team member — felt unusual. Neither of them turned on their camera, which made the conversation feel less engaging. The hiring manager spent about 20 minutes asking financial terminology questions that I wasn’t familiar with, and in some cases, it seemed like he was just reading definitions back to me. I was not given a chance to introduce myself properly, and apart from two behavioral questions, I barely spoke during the entire interview. Overall, the process felt quite awkward and one-sided. While I appreciated HR’s professionalism, the interview itself did not provide a fair opportunity to showcase my skills or experience.

The first round was a short phone interview, about 10 minutes. HR asked for a self-introduction, questions about my most recent work experience, expected salary, and whether I had any vacation plans. They also introduced the company’s vacation policy and then asked if I had any questions. Overall, it was straightforward and mainly focused on background and availability. After that, I was told to wait for updates about the next round.
