I was approached by CGI for a job. After an initial call, I informed CGI that I was not interested in joining, but was polite and thanked them for their time. After my rejection, CGI followed up and requested I meet with the VP to see if they could change my mind. After meeting with the VP and being promised several things, I agreed to take the job. After receiving an email confirmation of the job, pending a background check, I gave notice to my company. Two weeks later CGI informed me my job would no longer be progressing forward. Although I did quit my job without the official paperwork, I was taking the fact that I was aggressively headhunted and the email pending a background check at face value.

Interview process is really good, initial HR screening over phone and scheduled couple of rounds at offshore and one client round, then HR round on the Salary Negotiations
HR is very polite and cooperative
