J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez CAL POLY

      Entretien

I applied online, then after 2 weeks, I received an email that I was being moved to the search committee. Then, after 3 weeks, I received a call that I would be scheduled for an interview the week after next week. The interview was with the search committee aka the team, and it was very casual, easy, chill at home and they were all wearing baseball caps. The usual introduction, and the technical questions were basic IT stuff: what is TCP, what is UDP, their differences, why would you choose one over the other and in which instances would you choose them then question about what is IPSEC, then something about OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and then explain what happens in networking perspective, when you go to the Cal Poly website, what are the networking processes that happens there. Nothing too in-depth, and some situational and behavioral questions. Usually, if interviewers ask you about the very basics like TCP, UDP, and the like, the role most likely is an entry level, because everybody in the IT who has been in this profession knows TCP, UDP and the like so it just a formality question to ask if you at least know about the theory and how it works plus of course if they like you or not. The rejection letter came less than a week, faster than the actual processing, which took more than a month. Salary posted is not that competitive, but this role would suit primarily entry-level folks who needs experience unless you prioritize and compromise salary for this full-time remote role then this is worth a try.
