I had 2 phone calls: One with a recruiter and then one with the hiring manager. Offer given on second call. Very low stress interview. However, once accepting the offer, they ran a hard inquiry on my credit report- no problems with that. Dropped my credit score 6 points but it's worth it for the position I wanted. Hiring manager tells me she will give me a call to set up a time to meet the managers for this particular contract after the holidays. 1 month goes by- nothing. 2 months goes by- nothing. Holidays were in the mix but my emails were not getting answered. I FINALLY get a response back 2 months later saying that an internal employee wants the position and we need to wait for her to 'make her decision'. I understand that the position isn't official yet until the client approves it BUT letting an internal employee get into the mix after 2 months is absurd. They finally reached out after this and said the position is cancelled. Just a lackluster of a process. Very unorganized and unprofessional. This information was given in an email after 2 months of waiting around. Hiring manager was extremely unprofessional.
