I have recently started working at C3 IoT. Even from the interview process I could say that the group I was going to join included some of the brightest people I have met during my career (and I have been around). The process was extremely smooth and engaging. Starting with some entry interview tasks and questions, I had interviews with several members of the team that work within different projects in different areas. During this process it was clear that I was being evaluated not only based on my knowledge in specific areas, but also based on my ability to learn and grasp new concepts that could potentially be useful for the company now or in a future stage. I have to say now that I have started at C3 IoT, I can see the logic behind the interview process as the company is involved in different areas and constantly increasing its scope.

Question 1
There were many questions corresponding to different aspects of data science and machine learning evaluating your range and depth in the area.
1. Online assessment- includes basic ML fundamentals like assumptions of linear regression, random forests, etc
2. 3 technical rounds- problem solving (data science case study), ML round (discuss ML projects and ML deep dive based on specific hypothetical scenarios on how to approach a problem, coding round (DSA)

Question 1
Trees, stack and queue questions, time series problem
Applied on Nov 4 and got the online assessment on Nov 6. I passed the assessment and got the email from recruiter on scheduling the interview rounds. I emailed the recruiter with a question, did not receive a response and instead got an email that the hiring needs have changed and they will not be moving forward. Weird.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez C3 AI (Redwood City, CA) en déc. 2024
Entretien
I applied online and got the recruiter call within a Week. Got the coding assessment in the evening after the recruiter call and the assessment had some normal ML questions with 2 coding questions based on Data Science.
Then they scheduled the behavioral round (technical walkthrough round) with the senior manager and asked about my experience and resume walkthrough. There were some tough questions on Reinforcement Learning and LLMs. Cleared the round.
Later they scheduled 3 back-to-back technical rounds (2 technical, 1 coding). 1st Technical: Basic ML, Reinforcement Learning, RAG, LLM; 2nd Technical: ML System Engineering Scenario based question; 3rd Coding: 2 codes with Leetcode Semi-Hard and Hard difficulties. All went well but I got rejected after the 3 round without any particular reasoning and received an auto-generated rejection email.
There is a really High Bar that is set to get into this company and mostly they consider PhD candidates with relevant research and experience.
