This is a great company according to my research, and I was excited to interview with them. After making past the initial interview I was told there would be a follow up with another recruiter. Unfortunately, this second interview was one of the most confusing and frustrating interviews I've ever had. The recruiter informed me they only hire for this position from within or a person with industry related experience (this was not communicated in the first interview or job description), and then this recruiter continued to lead me down a path of self discovery as to whether or not i really want to work this field or industry. They wasted an hour of time telling me its not a good fit, questioning if i really wanted a sales position, etc etc.. I get that you are looking for dedicated and committed employees, but to question what a person wants and their motives for a sales position is just ridiculous. I don't know anyone who works in sales that loves it, sales is a grind period. People go into sales for the financial opportunity. This interview was so disappointing.
J'ai passé un entretien chez C.H. Robinson (Minneapolis, MN)
Entretien
recruiter phone screen → 1–3 interviews (behavioral, sometimes case/technical) → final panel or hiring manager interview; may include assessments or presentations. there was an in person meeting at the end at the office
Positive, very clear about interview process and role expectations. Transparent about culture and pay structure. Felt inviting and warm. Pretty easy interview, they just wanted to know more about me and if my personality would fit in well with the culture and team.
Good interview. Liked how professional the recruiter was. Also liked how professional the process was when go to the in person interview. Happy with the company's interview process and their people.
