J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez C.H. Robinson
Entretien
I applied to an Account Coordinator position in Minnesota in late November and was shortly offered my first interview, which took place in early December.
My first interview was over the phone and was on a Monday. My recruiter notified me on Sunday night through an automatic email that my interview was cancelled and had to be rescheduled to a different time of my choosing. Okay, got work off for this interview, but no biggie. Mistakes happen.
Recruiter called me and we had an hour-long conversation that mostly touched on my motivations and personality as an employee. Questions were pretty relaxed, but interviewer seemed tense throughout the call and it was one of the more bizarre interviews I've had. At the conclusion of the call, the interviewer confirmed I'd be moving on in the process.
Didn't hear anything back until four days later when I received a generic email that I was denied the position, which seemed in contrast with what my recruiter said. I emailed my recruiter and the local recruiter I was told I'd be interviewing with, and found out it was sent erroneously.
I then interviewed with the local recruiter in mid-December and it was clear she was much more competent/engaged with her role than the recruiter I had spoken to previously. We had a very laidback but enthusiastic/professional chat about my resume, interests, goals, etc., and why I wanted to work with C.H. Robinson. She informed me at the end of the call that they had one more interview to complete and the recruiter who I was working with previously would inform me whether I got the job or not (ugh).
I didn't hear anything back for a week and decided to email the recruiter (not the local recruiter) a few days before Christmas politely asking about the status of the job and expressing that I was still interested in the role. I didn't hear anything back from him until a week later, when I received the same generic email I had before that I didn't receive the job.
I expected a lot more from C.H. Robinson and I'm surprised a Fortune 500 company had such a flawed interview experience. I don't know if I just spoke to a bad point of contact or not, but jeez, have some respect.

Been more than 15 days that I have applied. Nobody has contacted yet. I think they do not recognize real talent. I have never seen such a company. This was first time I gave interview for a big company./

I had 1 phone interview and 2 virtual video interviews. It was fairly easy. I was asked most normal interview questions. Interviewers were pretty straight forward about job requirements and the culture of the company. Just be sure to be well prepared.

Question 1
Why do you think you would make a good candidate for this position?
The person who called me for my phone interview had an extreme amount of background noise. It sounded like there was construction going on right next to her. I am not confident that my responses to her questions were recorded in entirety. Also, she would often interrupt me in the middle of my response with "ok,ok" as if she was rushing through the process. Not impressed.
