- What’s your definition of UX design? - How is it different from other design disciplines? - Could you briefly walk me through your process approaching a problem space? - Who do you work with in your design process? - What interests you? What makes you thrive? What’s your pet peeve? - What’s your biggest challenge you have faced as a designer? - Could you give me an example of a product that does a great job with their UX design? - How do you stay on top of the latest trends in the industry?
Smooth communication and interactions. Detailed questions on previous portfolios. The cross functional interview are the most interesting and challenging with tons of product-wise questions. Set the interview to pretty late for oversea interviewees and I appreciated that.
