This is the weirdest interview experience I've ever had. After applying online I was contacted for a call with the recruiter. The recruiter asked a lot of very specific questions about my experience and mentioned without prompting that BuzzBee has poor glassdoor reviews, but that they believed them to be multiple posts from the same scorned individual. Based on my experience that is not completely accurate...After chatting with the recruiter I was asked to come in for a 3 hour interview with the heads of the company. During that they all asked very specific behavioral and situational questions and asked for examples. Then next day I was asked to have a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that the CEO asked me to call her so I did. She told me that they wanted to offer me the job and that as a formality they would like me to give their leadership a presentation and then meet with the clients. I did both of those things. They then asked for 5 references which I provided along with permission to contact any of my previous bosses. While they were contacting my reference the hiring manager set up a call with me and told me they wanted to demote the title of the position. That was the first serious red flag. Then I recieved an email from the recruiter saying I did not complete their employment application because I had written N/A for the salary with all my previous employers. I do not required to disclose that information so I do not and say if they want to talk about the salary we'd previously discussed I'm open to having that chat. Then I receive an email from the CEO saying she has talked to my reference and they were glowing and she's confident we will reach a mutually beneficial agreement. A few days after that I notice they have re-posted the job on LinkedIn. I ask the recruiter for an update and receive radio silence. After emailing a few other people and about a week passing I hear back from the recruiter that they've decided to go in a different direction. I respond asking for more information/feedback and never hear anything back. The job is still open on their website.
