I recently went through a three-stage process for the six-month editorial assistant role advertised for this company in April, which concluded in early May. This included a 400-word written article, phone interview and in-person interview. Two weeks after my in-person interview to my surprise and without being informed (ie ghosted), they have just advertised the same position for new applicants to begin work in June. Although I never worked for this company, potential applicants should be aware that if they are prepared to go through the hiring process with this company, this could happen to them. The process happens quickly and smoothly, taking a few distinct steps. Firstly, submit a CV along with a few writing samples. Next, carry out a short writing task. After this, the editor will get in touch for an informal phone interview to learn a little more about you and your career goals. After this, you'll be invited for a face-to-face interview. This will last for around an hour, and you'll speak with the editor, CEO, and a member or two of the editorial team.
