      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Bunny Studio (Hong Kong) en sept. 2020

      Entretien

When I applied for the role of Localisation Project Manager, despite going through four application stages (a CV and cover letter submission, 1 minute video recording, a written test and 121 interview with a product manager) over the period of 2 weeks, I was never communicated about my rejection despite being told that my application was still being considered. Instead I saw a social media post announcing the new hire. I wrote to the Hiring Manager to enquire about the role, and he apologised profusely that it was a mistake and I should have been informed of my rejection. I was disappointed in their handling of this situation but decided to let it go. I believe that after going through that many process, at the very least (the very, very least) a generic letter of rejection could have been provided. Two months after that the CEO (Santiago Jaramillo at the the time) of the company contacted me via LinkedIn asking to find "synergy" with me. He proceeded to speak about how he had heard good things about my application process and would like to invite me to consider roles in his marketing team. After our 30minute call he informed me that he would contact me with more information asap. After 2 days of hearing nothing i dropped him a message to no avail, 4 days later I dropped another message, still no response. I then sent along message explaining why the lack of communication did not speak well of his company and he still did not respond. Shortly after I saw his LinkedIn post celebrating the new hires he had made to the Bunny Studio marketing team. I was quite shocked by this lack of professionalism considering he is supposed to be the most senior member of his team but in this case did not set a good example. This lack of communication doesn’t speak very well of Bunny Studio as an organisation, and reduces trust between both parties. We live in a small professional world and for that reason a little respect of potential hires goes a long way in building business brand. Bunny Studio's communications have been inconsiderate of me as a candidate who was once interested in working them and I hope this feedback is taken seriously especially as they continue to improve your people and processes.
